The results of Main Street Concord’s Façade Improvement Grant Program are astonishing. Twenty 50/50 matching façade improvement grants totaling $63,500 have been awarded to downtown business and building owners to improve the appearance of their buildings. Ragged, dirty awnings were replaced, new outdoor lighting installed, bricks repointed and cleaned, and entire storefronts rehabilitated and replaced.

In fact, several building owners not only provided the required 50% grant match, but spent tens of thousands more on their building facades.

Main Street Concord, Inc. announces the release of a giclee print by Melissa A. Miller of Concord. A release reception will be held at McGowan Fine Art, 10 Hills Avenue, Concord on November 25th from 5 to 7 PM. The event is free and open to the public to meet the artist and purchase this limited edition print.
