Street Closings

Main Street Concord regularly notifies all downtown constituents whose email addresses we have about upcoming street closing and parking bans.

We'll let you know about closings for events like Concord Hospital's Rock 'n Race and our own events— including Market Days and Halloween Howl.

Halloween Howl

Friday, October 28th, fun begins at 5pm

Main Street from Centre Street to Pleasant Street will be closed from 4:00 to 8:00pm to ensure public safety.

Something for everyone downtown at Halloween Howl!

2011 Activities:

Trick-or-Treat historic North Main Street from Centre to Pleasant Streets from 5:30 to 7:30pm
Stargazing with McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center from 5:30 - 7:30pm
Live Music in Bicentennial Square beginning at 5:30pm!
Costume Parade at the State House Plaza WJYY's DJ Nazzy at 6pm
Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides 5:30 - 7:30pm ($3 per ride)
Halloween Movie at Red River Theatres:cult-classic Rocky Horror Picture Show. Multiple showings, check Red River Theatres' site for show times.
Pipescreams Spooktacular! at the South Congregational Church on Pleasant Street

FREE PARKING is available at the Capital Commons, Durgin Block and Firehouse Block parking garages.
