Re-Thinking Main Street

The Final Re-Thinking Main Street Report  will be presented to City Council on    Monday, July 11th at 7pm.

Click to read the Final Report and the Supplemental Report.

(Please be patient, these large files take a moment or longer to load.)

Re-Thinking Main Street is a partnership in which Main Street Concord, Concord 2020, and the City of Concord have begun to think big in order to drive more economic activity, expand the tax base and bring greater balance to the many ways we enjoy downtown Concord.

Re-Thinking Main Street

Over the past year, more than 1,000 people have contributed to Main Street's "Re-Think" by taking a close look at what we have that is great and other areas where downtown, it was agreed, could improve. For more details on this incredible process, view the presentations linked on the right hand column of this page. While you're here, please check out the studies, articles and other resources listed below. After taking a look, it is easy to see that downtown Concord is ripe for the changes requested from Re-Thinking Main Street participants. Lastly, don't miss the "as it is now" and "how it could be" photo series below. Looking for a closer look?  Click on any of the photos on the right for a larger view. As always, your input is welcome and appreciated. Your stake in a reconsidered Main Street is too great not to be part of the conversation. To help with this, please subscribe to our twice-monthly e-news or find us on Facebook and stay connected or contact us at info@mainstreetconcord.com to learn more.
